NVAT

After a little more than a month of gruesome waiting for the results of NVAT, it finally came out today and I PASSED! And I am really shock until now as I made wild guesses on most of the questions, especially on Math, Chemistry and Physics. And to top all this shock, a more shocking surprise came in; I ranked 5 among all the students from DLSAU who took the exam. God is really good.

On the other note, summer classes will end tomorrow. This one month of summer classes is one of a kind; all the drama and laughter will never be forgotten.

My thoughts exactly.

Thesis Update

Remember the time that I was ecstatic about my Biology thesis being published as an international journal (see here to refresh thy memory)? I have received the hard copy about a month ago!

My summer break is almost over

My summer break is almost over since summer classes will start on Monday. *sigh* I just have to condition myself that this is just for a month, so that I'll be able to graduate in 3 years. Right?

So, I have baked and cleaned my room for this week; I failed doing the Mango Torte and Oatmeal Crisp perfectly but Mango Torte tasted great, not considering that the meringue base wasn't that successful. As for the Oatmeal Crisp, it's a bit bland. I think I'll stick to the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie that I usually bake. :D

I was able to finish cleaning my room and kept my books in the book shelves. I have rearranged my leisure books once again and my space for my Vet Med books on another shelf.

This is my leisure books shelf. Maybe in a year, I'll be needing extra cabinet for my books. Haha

Topmost shelf: Young Adult, Inspirational and Classic; 2nd and 3rd shelf: Fiction; 4th: Reader's Digest; 5th: Philippine Literature on left, pending to be read on the right; 6th: on the leftmost are some kids' books (except for the dummies), the rest are those that needs to be returned to respective owners

And now, this is my school books shelf. Except for the top shelf, that is. :))

Topmost: cross stitch, rabbits, seashells books and Animal Scene on left side, Yummy Magainze and cook books on right side; 2nd: Vet Med stuff; 3rd: Biology stuff; 4th: Medicine stuff; 5th: more Biology stuff; 6th: more Vet Med stuff and those that are yet to be cleaned.

One year

Can you believe how time flies so fast? One second I was just starting out as a new transferee student at DLSAU, and the next second one school year's over. I still can't believe that one school year's done. Imagine that. Haha. If I'm still in med school and enjoying what I'm learning there, I'll probably be entering 4th year tomorrow, starting a year-round rotation as a Junior Intern in different hospitals. Yeah, I'll probably be having that jittery feeling that my friends are currently having. And I'll be proud to wear a steth around my neck, yeahboi!

Majority of my batchmates in Biology who took Medicine are done with their duties by today and are graduating some time within the month of April, wearing that MD toga with "MD" at the end of their names already. My med school batchmates, majority of them, are going to be JIs starting tomorrow. I have a friend who's studying medicine at UERM and she'll be having her first rotation under the OB-GYNE Department. Another friend of mine, now from FEU-NRMF, will have Surgery as her first rotation. If I'm still in med, where would my first rotation be? Heehe.

I'm still happy for them, for not giving up on med when things get tough and almost unbearable. They are really meant to be physicians and they will be, after a year of duties and after passing the board exams. Congratulations to my friends under Batch 2011, wherever med school you are in. And to Batch 2012 friends (wherever school you are in too), God bless! You all can do this. One year's fast. You'll survive those sleepless nights and early duties. 加油!

As for me, I should be graduating after 3 more school years and pass the board exam and have that "DVM" after my name. I will not give up.
